Mishra, Srikanta Faculty Member

Positions

I am a clinician-scientist and my area of work is audiology.
The overall goals of my research program is to understand the function and dysfunction of the peripheral auditory system (cochlear and efferent mechanisms) primarily in children. The principal approach includes a combination of non-invasive, physiologic (otoacoustic emissions) and perceptual tests. Such work has high translational significance, for developing mechanism-based, physiologic and objective tests of auditory function, in addition to validating theories of emission generation and cochlear models.
